Anyone have an OBD2 Reader I can borrow this weekend?
Discussion
Why wouldn't it connect? Did the reader power up from the OBD port? If not it could be a fuse - I had a mercedes that I couldn't connect my OBD reader too. Upon checking there was no power to pin 16, I found the fuse and it was blown, I changed it and the reader worked.
I am in Windsor if you are ever near and want to try again. I have a foxwell auto master pro, it's a garage quality reader(£700). You are welcome to try and get a reading with it.

It had the correct connection physically but just said there was an error when connecting.
Good luck with diagnosis though!
Yes they have a standard socket but not the software, on some Evo's you connect pins 1 and 4 on the obd and the dash flashes the fault codes , knowing which model Evo would have helped greatly Good luck with diagnosis though!

Was/ Is an X. Garage got them, very random bunch including misfire cylinder 3. Still hoping it's a sensor but it's off to a specialist!Gassing Station | Thames Valley & Surrey | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
