Recommended Audi specialist Surrey
Discussion
I need a thermostat replaced on a 2009 Audi TTS, and the local Audi dealership quoted an eye watering £548, and absolutely wouldn't budge. Therefore, I'd be keen to know if anyone could recommend a place that is known to do a decent job and not charge half a grand to fit a £30 part. I live near Shepperton, but am regularly in Woking, so anywhere around those areas would be great.
Cheers.

Not exactly around the corner I know, but if Reading isn't too far, then this place comes recommended on here (& by myself)......

Different car I know, but on my old 2008 Mk 5 Golf GTI I paid £220 to have the thermostat replaced (inc VAT). I seem to recall its a bugger to get to and involved taking a few bits apart, hence labour. Cheers.

Yeah to be fair, from what I've read it does sound like a massive pain to do... But when combined with main dealer labour rates it just seems a mad price.JONSCZ said:

The Phirm is about 25 miles from Shepperton, but they are excellent, very obliging, knowledgeable, and reasonable. The owner used to lend me his personal cars when I took mine in. Speak to Tim:
