Location for 50th birthday party?
Discussion
I live near Camberley (if you hadn't guessed!) and in Dec it is my wife's 50th. She wants a 'Do' with friends and family, probably nibbles/drinks/music. Given that some people may want a 'shandy or two' and are coming from a distance a location with some accommodation on site or close by would be a good idea. I want to avoid anything too flashy/posh as I don't want people not to have a drink because its too expensive. We may cover the bar bill but I am not sure on this yet.
Suggestions please? We went to Lakeside for her 40th and our daughter was married at the Ely on the A30. These are possibilities again.

Easthampstead Park is nice and answers your criteria, though you may find it too posh. Nice place, though, and reasonably priced for what you get.
We've used them a few times without issue and have always been pleased with their service.

What about the Frimley Hall hotel or much cheaper still the Queens Hotel Farnborough. I think it's a Holiday Inn now. I hired out one of their rooms for a lunch for my dad's 60th or 65th. Or you could have the do at the Aviator and then you have the Travel Lodge and Premier Inn options just down the road.
