Dentist recommendation - Crowthorne / Wokingham
Discussion
I've recently moved to the area and I need to get registered with a denstist. This might be tricky as you can tell the ones taking NHS patients by the unicorns grazing on the verge outside.
Priority for me is simple competence. My last two dentists did stuff to my teeth that actively made them worse. I would go to the surgery with no symptoms, get a tooth filled and the damn thing would be sore for ever after.
So, local folk, please recommend me you recommendations of where to go. I can get dental insurance with work if necessary so don't mind private.

My Misses used to work at Winnersh dental practice, so I've seen behind the scenes and know them quite well, no complaints from me and all very nice/competent people.

Nav is the best, and the owner, but they are all good.

I'd recommend Beechcroft on Station Rd in Wokingham. Not cheap, but they did some wondrous stuff for me over the years. http://beechcroftdental.com/
And one of their dentists happens to be the original owner of one of my cars, and seems to accidentally appear in the corridor every time I visit, to talk about it... so petrolhead dentist is a plus.

Car's doing well these days, Christiaan - no longer a daily driver and I finally got round to replacing the centre console (and the phone holder), and upgraded the satnav to the 2010+ higher-res version. Next on the cards is a visit to MRC for a spot of fettling

I used it as a daily driver initially but in the end had to get a little run around to spare the RS from the mundane work commute so as to maintain that "special feeling" when I did drive it.
Good move getting the centre console replaced... That phone holder was awful!
Definitely get it to MRC for a bit of a treat.... I would have done by now if I'd kept it.
Still miss it though.
Keep in touch!
