Geometry setup of 2012 Focus ST
Discussion
For those interested I ended up going to Wheels In Motion in Chesham. ( http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk )
It's a bit of a treck (34 miles for me), but they are brilliant.
Full check and setup for £48.
Turns out the front toe was -0.06' on the left and + 0.03' on the right. It's been reset to 0.07' and 0.06' and it drives amazingly now, even better than new.
I have no relationship or interest in the garage, but I can't recommend them highly enough. They did my wife's Honda S2000 about 6 months ago and it too was transformed.

I'm in Finchampstead so probably same travel time to WiM. MX5s are very sensitive to geometry changes, even a couple of psi in the tyres makes a big difference, so finding an expert with real knowledge of what effect changes make rather than just setting to standards is a massive bonus. You can discuss with WiM how you want your car to feel & react and they will set it up accordingly. Experts are worth travelling & paying for.
