Gellhorn Cooney Laugharne
Connaught House

GU1 3DA
They have done a lot of property work for me in the past dealing with land, rights of way, covenants and titles.
What is the issue?
Thanks for replying blueg33.Gellhorn Cooney Laugharne

A combination of maintenance fees on electric gates that were installed as part of a development after my parents moved in, and across their right of way, and which they never asked to be installed, whilst not saying they did not want them either, an inability of the people in said development to differentiate between their common area and my parents private property. Leaving bags of rubbish obstructing the RoW and then claiming my parents dragged the rubbish everywhere and then collecting it and dumping it on my parents property. (I think this last one is an attempt at intimidation/bullying of which there is history). It's all getting a bit messy so want to try and get things nipped in the bud as early as possible.

Ah, typical RoW and shared access issues.A combination of maintenance fees on electric gates that were installed as part of a development after my parents moved in, and across their right of way, and which they never asked to be installed, whilst not saying they did not want them either, an inability of the people in said development to differentiate between their common area and my parents private property. definately needs a decent letter from a solicitor - derrogation of right of way as a starting point etc.
GCL are good at property law, I dont think that you need a local firm though, you need one who can write a robust letter based on the legal issues. You only need a local one if you want him to visit the site.
There are others on here who may also be able to help. I think rudeboy is a property lawyer
My current property rottweiler solicitor of choice is based in manchester, but he is dong so much work for me I am not going to distract him by recommending him to others
(edited an odd typo)
