Bifold doors, sliding patio doors and roof lantern
Discussion
For roof lanterns, not especally local, but they deliver and install, and their stuff is good: http://www.reflexglass.co.uk/
roof lantern wouldnt use anyone else except roofmaker, they tend to be at all the big home shows, used them a few times and really good company, good price, quality etc etc
For bifolds i always used to use ukbilfold they have a showroom in reading, they have always been really good but slipped a little with the last job that i used them for the products great just the services wasn't as good as I'm used to.

thanks all, and Happy New Year
My concern is that they all need to match, and therefore my best way of guaranteeing this is to get everything from the same supplier, and herein lies the problem. The quotes i have had are all a little higher than i think they need to be, but i have exhausted my negotiation process with them, to the point that they have given me their "walk away"price - and i have!

I currently have an extension in full swing, bifolds are being installed this week, and roof lanterns by end of month, we met the company at the home renovation show at Olympia last year, we subsequently visited their premises in November.
Both products are UK made, and will be coming in the same ral colour.

your best bet is to get the doors to match as you will see them together, your unlikely to be able to see the door and the lantern in the same view??My concern is that they all need to match, and therefore my best way of guaranteeing this is to get everything from the same supplier, and herein lies the problem. bi folds are around £1k a metre and a 2m x 1m roof lantern is around £1500
what size are you thinking of and ill get you a price of my suppliers??
Thanks bigdom, they look interesting, I'll give them a call.
Hi Jake, the bifolds are 4m x 2.1, 5 panel to get a "traffic" door
The,sliding patios are 3.6m x 2.1 the outer panels fixed and two middles slide outwRds
and the lantern is 3.1 x 3.9m
No worries on that front Andy, they will definitely be aluminium.
