If you're willing to go a little along the M4, there's The AutoPool at Iver - http://www.theautopool.co.uk/

I've been there once so far, they seemed professional and the work they did was good. Premium'ish prices but of course cheaper than a main dealer.
Thanks - Will definitely bear them in mind - Vehicle is a 2001 "Shed" but with low enough miles (71k) to warrant quality care in the interest of longevity.curlyks2 said:

Excellent - The one I am looking at is in Hayes so could "test-Drive" it to them to see if they can give it a cursory glance. I live in Wokingham and can be generally lazy with regard driving a distance for a service!Mill Road in Caversham are superb and used by several local PH'rs...

unless you have electrical issues...they claimed my S4 had a battery drain issue coming from the sat nav and gave up trying to fix it - they suggested I try John Kleis car stereo people who needless to say they couldn't helphttp://www.millroadgarage.co.uk/
ended up taking it to Fontain Motors who confirmed there was no battery drain issue - needless to say the car has been fine since

I used this guy before for work on my Mini. Lovely guy and couldn't fault the work.

"The Phirm" on the A30 between Hook and Hartley Wintney are good for all VAG stuff, although they do tend to be more into the modifying (as in proper engine work and project cars) scene than bread-and-butter servicing, although they do that too. Very knowledgeable guys who looked after my Corrado VR6 for years.

The Phirm are great as are four rings. A mobile outfit who is over this way a bit from their Base in Dartford.
Bavaria Cars in Barkham are good also. I only have experience with a BMW but pretty sure they know there way around an Audi as well.
