M25 Gantry Cameras

Does anyone know if these are fully functional now ?

Think I got flashed doing 82 the other night, national speed limit in force.

Have heard contrasting stories as to whether they are active, daily mail said in Jan that only ones in Kent between 2 junctions were actually switched on and I can't find evidence of a NIP online from these.

There's one set of cameras I think between the A3 and the M4, heading clockwise that I've seen flash a couple of times at people over 70 but not silly quick. Wasn't me though, so no idea if you'll get a NIP in the post.


Wasn't that lawyer, Nick Freeman, saying he'd defend people who were flashed when the speed limit was National?

I was flashed near clackett lane at the start of May. They were installed while i was at the Nurburgring so I didnt know they were suddenly there.

I had cruise control on and was flash in the 40MPH section doing 70. Am still yet to see a ticket

Quite funny going down there at night, its like a disco! Saw one camera flash 11 people at one time recently

Surely sudden flashes at night are dangerous.....just sayin

No NIP came as a result. Yes you are right, very odd almost disorientating for a second big white flash in all mirrors.

There are some new ones round the north end too after the M1 Junction but before the M11 junction. They flash as well but as it wasn't at me I'm not sure if anything happens as a result!
