Short-Term Secure Car Storage?
Discussion
Gentlefolk,
I'm due to have some building work done on my house, starting in the next few weeks.
Owning four cars doesn't help in this respect as my builder needs to get skips and diggers in.
So I'm wondering if anyone has or knows where I could store two of my beloved cars for about a month, maybe two?
It's got to be secure and, of course, I'm happy to pay.
Ideally, somewhere near Crowthorne, but really anywhere 'local'.
Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.

Not exactly local, but the chap who runs it is well known by the tvrcc Berkshire region

Richard Thorne at Grazeley has secure, under-cover storage.
Don't know what rates but worth a call?

Cheers, Pewe.
We used to store a caravan at Highbarn Farm, Commonfield Lane, Arborfield. Normally it's outdoor but they may have under-cover and/or short-term.
Beauty of that place is the only entrance is past the owner's front door so nearly 100% secure.
May have a tel no. somewhere if you can't find it otherwise.

Thanks Pewe.
Yes, I've heard of Richard on here before.
I could use my motorhome storage place 20 miles from home, but they unfortunately don't open at the weekend and that kind of limits things for getting cars moved and collected with minimal inconvenience. It's a fall-back, though.
'Garaged' is even further away (40 miles) - hence my mild reluctance on that front.

http://www.camberley-secure-storage.co.uk/ - worth a try? Never used them myself though, so no personal experience.
Thanks!
Heard of them before (annoyed I didn't recall their details before posting this now...) but also haven't heard of any reports, good or bad.
Worth a call, though. The cars (my 40 year old Series 3 Land Rover and 110 LR) aren't of high value, but are very sentimental. And not the kinds of cars one can leave parked on the road without undue worry.
