The Mrs and I enjoy a nice cooked Breakfast on the occassional Saturday morning.
We have done the place in Crowthorne, the name of which escapes me, we have done Deepcut Cafe, and we have done the Three Mariners. Anyone else got any recommendations for local(ish) to Sandhurst please?

There's Pinewood cafe - is that the Crowthorne one you were referring too? Then there's Blackbushe cafe at the airfield. They are our two regular haunts.

Thats the one... kept thinking Pine Ridge which is Camberley, and have done Blackbushe.

New breakfast venue to try! Cheers! Big fan of Deepcut for volume / proximity and Fairoaks for quality.

The Mrs has been reading the reviews, and apparently a certain Ginger Haired, Petrol Headed Radio presenter is often seen there... I wonder if I might see some nice metal in the car park too!

I found out about it as I went with the guys from Autocar for lunch when my car was used for a photoshoot at Longcross track a few years ago, so I know it's popular with a few petrolheads.

The cafe/coffee shop at Lockey Farm shop is also really good. Not the biggest portions but all the food is from the farm/butchers.

Depends how far you want to travel I guess. There's Tubbies Diner next to Henley Station but my all time favourite has to be The Gorge Cafe in Reading, RG1 8BB.
Haven't tried The Old School but as it's not far from work, I'll have to give it a go.

The layby cafe on the outskirts of Wokingham is worth a visit.

It's the place just off the A329M heading into Wokingham on the right in that layby where the houses are, just before Loch Fyne.

Portions are reasonable. Quality good. Typical 'greasy spoon' experience.

If you fancy something slightly more posh, try Capers in Crowthorne high street.

Edited to add that I'm very much up for a Saturday morning Longcross meet should one be arranged.

Why ?

Maybe you need to have a word with your boss and tell him/her to butt out smile
