Afternoon chaps.

Hope this won't step on anyone's toes...One of my staff actually works in Wokingham & in order to get down to us in Redhill, Surrey he has to traverse various flood hit areas & he keeps mentioning to me the state of some houses & how some cars are rotten with flooding and how many garages are underwater.

Now I run a car storage facility & although we're about to have a whole host of cars come in from 3 weeks time that will take 2/3rd's of the space...If any PH'ers are in a desperate situation with their P&J's & they've had to run it away to higher ground or to a friends because of the flooding, I'm happy to help & take them in, no charge at all.

We've got a 3 week window where by we have space for people if they're in a desperate situation with their car so you at least have somewhere safe, secure & dry to keep it while the clear-up operation around Berks/Surrey continues.

Hope that helps any PH'ers out...We've got a car arriving with us tomorrow that's been saved from the floods after the chap ran it over to a friends before the garage it was sitting in became submerged so I figured he's probably not the only one out there in that situation!

If you think the space will be needed, drop me a message through my profile with your contact number, it should then arrive through to my phone & we can co-ordinate from there.

Unlimited man points to you, what a nice thing to do.

If you run out of space, I've got place for a supercar or 2 on my drive, we've all got to pull together !

I'll give you the shirt off my back! what a hero!!! It actually makes me feel guilty not being able to offer this act of kindness! I do have a bit of space in front of my house in Didcot but its just not on the same level as what the OP is offering!

Good work, what a lovely offer.

Luckily the rented place we have been put in ha a garage for the TVR or I would have been knocking on your door.

Last time we were flooded we didn't have a garage at the rented house so it had to stay in the warehouse at work which was a pain in the arse.

Not a problem chaps - It just made sense seeing as we have the space available right now in our schedule wink If it can help fellow PH'ers out, all the better. We can arrange collection/delivery of the vehicle too (I can put you in touch with one of my subcontractors that does almost all my recovery work)

Here's one of the survivors from Wraysbury! The one that got away before the garage it was sitting in became flodded. Phew! Close shave! A flood damaged DS Convertible doesn't bare thinking about!!

Genuine question, but have you been flooded before or live in an area that's at risk?
Because I think had I been in the same situation then I'd have had that up on ramps and axle stands/bricks/blocks of wood etc, etc, to at least give it a fighting chance.

The ultima was on jack ramps so gave about 4 inches of height. All in car was fine but lawnmower etc was a bit wet. Mothers house and never been like this before.
