Part worn tyres - Reading
Discussion
I know this is a bit of a moot subject, and very unPH, but can anyone publicly fess up and recommend me somewhere in the Reading area for part worns.
I just need a stop gap tyre for a few weeks and would rather put a branded part worn on than a new LingLong Ditchfinder.
Would rather have a recommendation as it's obviously a minefield with plenty of dodgy tyres out there.

So you want to have a tyre fitted that someone else has ditched, good luck.
WHY ???? Have a tyre fitted that who ever is selling it has no idea of how its been used or treated.
Seen some many go this way but would never ever again.
Tyres are the cheapest thing you will ever fit on your car compared to fuel etc.

Buy one off ebay, I have bought many used full & axle "sets" and odd ones without issue, even sometimes unused, all my daily use cars have winter tyre and and wheel sets bought second hand. There are many reasons why tyres are sold part worn/second hand, after all we all buy second hand tyres on second hand cars don't we..... as long as they are "in date" no older than 5 years, and not scrubbed badly on the side wall or cut, you will be fine.I just need a stop gap tyre for a few weeks and would rather put a branded part worn on than a new LingLong Ditchfinder.
