Thames Valley Sunday Run Out
Discussion
Seeing as there is no sight of a Sunday Service any time soon, is anyone up for an early morning Sunday blast to blow away those winter cobwebs?
I have a route planned which starts at Newbury services on M4, goes into Berkshire, Oxfordshire and ending at probably the Reading services on M4. Nearly 100 miles, of mainly A and B roads, with occasional dual carriageways and motorway section. Google maps says 2hrs 30 mins but prob be less than that, break halfway through for coffee.
Thinking of Sunday 9th Feb, leaving around 6.30-6.45 am (or earlier if people wish) before roads get busy.
So to a list:
Si_xsi – Mk 5 Golf GTI

Unfortunately the TVR is out of action. Didn't you go on the run to good wood with the TVRs earlier this year?

Don't think I know any Thames valley PHers but would like to come along if you don't mind new people?
of course, it doesnt matter at all, anyone is welcome. Will keep an eye on the weather as Saturday doesnt look too clever and I dont want to head out if any of the route could be flooded. si_xsi said:

Cool, I'll check this thread Saturday night, don't want to set my alarm that early and then not go out!Hi guys,
Yes it seems enough want to go so will still be on. Its the services off the M4 westbound at the Newbury/A34 junction. Look out for a red golf GTI
Meet at 6.30 for a 6.45am sharp depart. Finish will be M4 Services Eastbound in between Theale and rreading junctions.
See you tomorrow
Simon
