For a few months I do not have room for my beloved TVR Chimaera - so need a secure car storage as local to Reading, Berkshire as possible.

Anyone had experience of using any? I have found a few

But would prefer to go on reference.

I've not used those two but did use Richard Thorne ( http://www.rtcc.co.uk) for some of mine. RTCC place the cars in a warehouse, for want of a better word, and they can get a bit dusty if you don't have a car cover or carcoon. They were always pretty flexible with me and it was good to chat to the staff there too - they're a decent bunch. They're about 10 minutes from Madejski stadium (out of town) - easy to get to. I used them for a couple of years and only took mine out when I bought a place with more garaging than I have cars (I'm sure that's just a temporary situation).

Stored my Rolls with RTCC for a while. Nice and out of the way, but only 10 mins from M4 Junc 11. As stated before though, take a cover or carcoon.

I've recently put my Celica here: http://www.ninemilerideindustry.com seems to be secure and only £50ish a month. It is outside though.

Yep. Or temperature controlled - a big deal for some of us with Italian cars. I'd expect insurance companies to have a more positive view on secure storage too (although don't quote me on that).

Chaps if you get stuck do let me know...I look after a number of PH'ers car. My car storage facility is in Redhill, Surrey. Access can be arranged within 2hrs notice, 24/7. Very secure with a Police response time of 3min.

This way you've got a back-up if there's nothing nearer your way up in Berks.

Eversley storage services on the a327 is around 10 - 15 minutes drive from reading. It's very secure. You can rent a storage container on the ground floor and drive or push a car in. The containers are insulated on the roof.

Hi I was looking for car storage and you were mentioned in a few posts, albeit from some time ago, do you still do storage?

Kind Regards

Nick

So I had my car stored at RTCC in 2016 and the service was great. Plus, you get to spend a while nosing around Morgans. The guys are great there also.
