Just querying is it illegal to move cones on ongoing roadworks if clearly safe too
I.e in Bracknell they are shutting 2 lanes down to 1 on twin bridges before the roundabout when you get to the roundabout there is no need at all and so frustrating

Would you potentially move cones if clearly safe only

As Bracknell transport and the contractor are clearly crap at flowing traffic at times

Pretty sure its an offence mate

However where is the twin bridges improvement ??
Converting it to dual lanes past fire station would have been.
And remove the traffic lights ...
They are roundabouts, ok large ones and do not require lights.

All that work, disruption and money for what.
And the additional roundabout installed for Jennets Park has fked up a decent road.
Terrible camber and layout - no lights though.
A Waste of the Developers contribution to the highways slush fund

The number of road signs left up by contractors, I wonder sometimes if they know what they are doing half the time.

Only lantra qualified operatives are allowed to adapt traffic management.

There will be a reason.

A guy recently jumped through the cones on a job i was involved with because in his words "I could see no purpose in them being there".
His Q7 sunk strait into the wet Tarmac. Ruined a nights worth of work and an 10 plate Q7.

I know from the outset it's a job everyone's an expert on, but in reality their are a lot of different aspects to it.

That, I would liked to have seen laugh

The laugh is for his stupidity, not for the workers whose work he ruined by the way.

If there are any accidents and particularly any injuries that they could blame on cones being moved, especially if its an injury for a road worker, I'm sure you would face a very big legal argument.
No accidents and you'd probably get away with it.
