Ford type 9 -5 speed gearbox needed

Anybody know of a ford type 9 5 speed gearbox sitting around and not wanted, it would be from a Granada or Capri, its needed for a 2.8 TVR Tasmin,i believe its used in the s series tvr also, cheers for now, Wooly

Perhaps try the Caterham section. Standard fitment in certain models for years. Someone may have one following some upgraditis.

You will need the V6 version , not just anyone as the primary shaft from the box to crank is a different length.

We think we've found one with a Granada v6, not saying definite until its landed on our drive but fingers crossed. wooly

Got one and is now fitted, just need to sort Speedo connection now.
