Hi all,
I've been well served in the past when asking for recommendations so I'm hoping you'll come good again!
I'm looking for someone to make a bespoke cabinet for me. I'm keen to get a cabinet where the front is hinged from the top to make a drop leaf table. The cabinet itself may be used to store folding chairs but definitely going to feature a pop-up tv. I've researched what's available and decided not to use the bed style lifts as either gas struts or a linear actuator make the most sense.
I suspect that there's going to be quite a bit of suck it and see involved. Is anyone on here up for the job or know a carpenter/cabinet maker that might be?

Cheers
Doug

I am currently waiting for this guy to build me something:

He has been fantastic so far. We met and discussed what I wanted, threw a few ideas about, and came up with a design, which he then put into a CAD package and showed me.

He's pretty booked up though, so you'd have to wait a few months until it is made.

Contact Saladin here on PH. He has a very good reputation for his work. Can often be found posting within the classic car and yesterday's heroes section. Based not far from Hungerford.

These people http://www.qualityhouse.co/ in Fleet have made some lovely stuff for us; mostly in oak and mahogany.
E.g. this bespoke cabinet for my wife's collection of pots:
