Thai Terrace is ok, unless you've actually been to Thailand, a which point you realise the food is average at best. Try Hansa's Thai Kitchen in Weybridge for something a bit more authentic.
Yes, my girlfriend and I have recently returned from a holiday there, which is why I thought it'd be nice to go to a nice Thai place for her birthday. I'll have a look at the one in Weybridge, that'd be nice and convenient. Thanks! Is there any convenient parking nearby?[quote=Howard-]

Thai Terrace is very good but may be a little lacking on the authentic side of things for some (but I would still highly recommend it if you haven't been).
I/we had a great meal there, food was definitely above average, the staff were excellent and as others have said it is quite a special place up there over looking Guildford.
Oh, and when the waiter asks how 'Hot' you would like a certain dish, the answer is not (for most people atleast) 'Thai Hot' unless you wish to... well, you can guess the rest!

Best Thai I know is in Acton, 'Thai Nice' . Very good value, great food, and they do a ladyboy cabaret once a month on a sunday night.
The owner and staff are all camp as a row of tents and they also own the massage place opposite, both premises have big rainbow flags in the windows.. whatever that means...
