I have the terrible task of looking after a female Russian colleague tomorrow, while having appointments in the Credsex area of Wycombe and after lunch a meeting in Woburn Green.

Any recommendations for a pub lunch?

We had a good (Sunday) lunch recently at The Walnut Tree in Bourne End.

Hi just down the old road into Marlow Bottom you will find The Three Horseshoes, loads of choice and good food last time I was there.

Thanks Jon, good choice. We got there early, but the pub was full as we left - not bad for a Monday lunch!

Pleased you liked it, places change and have off days so always slightly apprehensive about recommending. Having said that if you like large portions and a (large Menu!)The Three Horse Shoes is a pretty safe bet.

Cheers Jon

Also owned by the Rebellion Brewery which is the small independent in Marlow founded by a couple of ex-Borlease chaps. So it's good to support them too.

Was amazed that my Russian colleague had a half pint of ale. Pub was very accommodating by letting her try it first! Amusingly provided in a shot glass!
