Incident A34 South between Highclere & Whitchurch

I've just been for a nice walk at Beacon Hill near Highclere which overlooks the A34 and could clearly see from there that the A34 southbound is crawling along. Not sure what the incident is but it doesn't look good at the moment.

Can't find any real info. Tomtom traffic suggests a lane closure at the M3 junction and everything else just says heavy traffic.

I think it was something around Whitchurch. Looks like they cleared it up fairly quickly though as it appeared to be clear by around 4ish.

I came past there northbound around 4ish and there was a lot of traffic at a standstill on the southbound side. I didn't see anything and just put it down to heavy traffic on the M3 and it backing up on the A34.
