I have a mate that's an excellent cnc machinist and works in Newbury. He does flywheels amongst other bits for all of our club cars. He occasionally posts on here as White noise, I'll point him to this thread.

Yes I can lighten your own flywheel , what sort of weight did you want it taken to?
I do Subaru ones down from 10.5kg to 6.5kg and any other machining jobs to work around my full time manual/CNC job
