Anyone near Wokingham with a Cooper S or TT 225?

I've had quite a few dealings with both cars in the past and both are great fun to drive. Please bear in mind the items below are things I've learnt about both cars over the years. Generally they are good bits of kit and the items below are just some of the things took look out for (which are worth knowing about if your looking to buy either).
Things to look our for on the Mini would be:
Headgasket. Check header tank and oil cap (make sure oil isn't mixing with the water and visa versa, coolant and oil should be clean). I've had two with blown headgaskets, both all sorted and back to normal but they weren't cheap fix (I bought them knowing the issue).
Make sure thermostat housing isn't leaking on the underside (another common issue).
Play in the steering rack (detectable by rocking the steering side to side when stationary). It should feel nice and tight with no clicking/clonking. It is worth noting that the steering is quite heavy in comparison to other vehicles and is a normal characteristic of the car.
Gearbox issues (again, quite common). Make sure the gearbox is as you would expect, no nasty noises and smooth/easy into each gear etc. I've known of several needing gearbox work.
Excessive noise from the Supercharger. They should have a distinctive whine but not overly so. Power should be linear and not jerky.
For a Mini with Xenon Headlamps, make sure the headlight washers come out and go back in again. They quite often get blocked due to lack of use and need either cleaning out or having the pump replaced (it's a separate pump from that of the windscreen). Also check the Xenons themselves as they are roughly £320+VAT each.
Things to look out for on the Audi would be:
Make sure the fuel gauge works (very common fault), it's pretty much worth the fill up cost to check that it does, as if it doesn't it can cost hundreds to put right.
Make sure if it has Xenons both lamp units work (alot of people don't check when looking over a car during the day). Again, if a Xenon Unit doesn't work it's not cheap (more expensive than the Mini).
Make sure the big round buttons (heated seats, hazards etc) above the stereo haven't been pushed into the dash, they are an absolute b
d to put back into place (not an expensive fix but very fiddly). If you do need to relocate them, pull the stereo out and there is a hatch above the stereo to access them, you'll need to have small wrists and be a contortionist to do it though.
Make sure the transmission all sounds good, no clonks on take up etc. Check differentials for any seepage/leaks.
Unfortunately I have neither of them at the moment so I can only offer the above information to help.
