On my usual trip to work, I noticed there's a section (about 75-100m) right at the top of the slip road onto the eastbound M4 J12, which has been surface dressed. No signs that I could see, so no advance warning until the traffic hit it at ~25 mph, and there was the worst showering of stones I've ever seen.

Now the front end of the car is pebble dashed, which really pisses me off since I had it resprayed only a few months ago.

So: watch out if you're heading this way.
Now to badger the HA to see if they'll pay for another fecking respray ... ranting

Bizarre, I used that very slip at about 08.30 this morning and it was smooth, freshly laid Tarmac. confused

I suspect it was an overnight job, but at just around 8am it felt like driving through a stone-drift. Maybe not helped by numpty in the van in front straddling the two lanes, so he may have been throwing up more than usual...

Are you sure you were awake at the time, wiliferus smile?
