Removals company recommendations....

We're moving soon (after 10 months of trying and chain collapses, hoping it works this time!) and our chain is pushing for completion soon after exchange.

Unfortunatley our preferred moving company (Bisley Removals) is fully booked on the week it looks like we will be moving.

Can anybody recommend a moving company in the area (who also does the packing!)

Berkshire Removals - pack, move, great job, very competitive price - Phil, a TVR owner on here is the brother of the guy who runs it I think. Moved us in May, highly recommended.

Someone recommended Big Red Removals. Not booked anything yet (exchange/completion/slow solicitor argh) but got a very competitive quote from them and they're quite hot on email, which is generally a good sign.

Just don't book them for the same day as me

It was me that recommended big red. As I said, I have used them many times, and have also recommended them to several friends, and they've always been excellent.

Just checking back. I used Red Removals last week and they were ace. Very good price, friendly guys who made no big deal of moving quite a bit of furniture. Would use again and would definitely recommend.

Can highly recommend Bates Removals, used them about 3 times and most recently 6 weeks ago, great guys, very helpful and cometivley priced. They also juggle al of their customers to ensure they can meet everyone's moving dates......
