Welding

Can any one help? Bought a gravity kart and entered the Cookham Dean gran prix on September 01st, will be a good day out BUT the cart needs a little bit of welding so I can fit a second brake, 40mph downhill with only one braked wheel does not sound good! Can any one help? It is for Charity, the Air Ambulance, thanks in advance!

Is it just a mild steel chassis ?

Hi, the seller described it as "Mild Steel ERW tube TIG welded" dosen't mean much to me! Can you help?

If it's just mild steel and you want a bracket welding on I can MIG weld it for you I don't have my TIG anymore unfortunately, it is on the shopping list though PM me.

I would just like to say a BIG thank you to Calvin, he has welded on a bracket so I now have 2 braked wheels, always a good idea! Looking forward the the 1st of September, hope some of you can/will attend!

Quick update, cart has been passed by the scrutineers so got to do it now! Its this coming Sunday, first run at 1-00, lots of carts, around 25 mad folks trying to keep them on the tarmac and out of the verge and bushes........
After there is live music in one of the three pubs and more food, love it!
It is a great afternoon/evening and if any of you are at a loose end, highly recommended and its for the Air Ambulance so a good cause also.
I am the good looking guy in the Stig outfit, if I am not in the cart I will be in the the Bar, say hell and mines a pint!
