Has anyone local (Camberley) got a Brake caliper piston rewind kit i could borrow please.
I bought this one from Halfrauds
www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product...
but the pins are too far apart. I would order a kit but i really want to do this now the cars apart.
Cheers
Paul

I have one (Finchampstead) but it looks like that Halfords one.
As for the pins... Are you aware that you can turn the round plate over as the pins are closer together on the other side.

I ended up doing it with a pair of needle nose pliers when all the "universal" tools I tried didn't fit the viper pistons. Was a bit hard at first but as the piston retracted it got easier and wasn't too difficult in the end, you just need a good sturdy pair of pliers that can take the twisting action without falling apart

Yes, the smaller side is still too big, thanks for the offer though

If i can't borrow a kit, i might give that one more try before i put it back together.
I'll order one of those 20 odd piece sets

Why don't you contact Brunty Paul I'm sure he'd probably have one (& only down the road from you)?

Hello Mike
all done now. I resorted to Mole grips and G clamp....worked ok once they started to move
