Morning folks,

I am expecting to move mid/late April from Guildford to Camberley - looking for a pack / move / unpack service.

Are there any good firms people can recommend? And any idea what kind of costs I should expect for this kind of service? (3 bed house, 2 people's stuff).

Many Thanks!

we moved from sandhurst to fleet last year. same set up as you. my missus was getting quotes ranging from £600 to £800.
being a tight fisted git i couldn't be doing with that. we hired a luton from kendalls for 2 days (£80) and gave a mate £200 and we did it over a weekend. bloody hard work and i appreciate most people have to do it in a day but i wasn't going to pay anybody that sort of money to move a few boxes and some furniture 5 miles up the road.

I used a company based in London recently, to move from Farnham to Frensham. They arrived in the morning, packed up an entire 3 bed house, moved everything to Frensham, re-assembled the furniture that had been dismantled, and placed all the boxes in the right rooms. All for £700.

Move completed successfully with a smattering of rain and gale force winds to help things along!

Cracking job done by Ollie / Wayne at Berkshire Removals - highly recommended.

Had a couple of other firms over for quotes at the time (although oddly Bisley weren't interested in quoting for some reason) but Berkshire got the confidence vote from the Ministry of War and Finance out of the three contenders.

Cheers
