Hi,

Looking for a quality tyre fitter in the Oxford or Reading area (I am in between) that can deal with wide tyres.

I need my 315's dismounted (re-conditioning my split rims)and the last guy butchered the rims.

Anyone got an recommendations ?

Won't the company reconning your wheels do that? I've always used BJV and they can perform this for you and will obviously re-recon the wheel if they do any damage when remounting the tyres.

Thanks for the replies. I am kinda sucker for punishment and I want to have a go at doing my own.

Chesham is a bit far but that's a good link - ta.

Go and see Martin at the Tyre Barn in Newbury (Tel 37282) - I've seen him do all sorts, even fitting some extremely stretched Tyres on to 19" BMW X5 Rims that were for a Mk4 Golf!

He's extremely reasonable, best prices on Tyres I've found for years! Tel 01635 37282

John or Paul at Britten Tyres near the DVLA Test Centre in Reading (actually on the Robert Court Estate just before DVLA on the right) can do most sizes.

Sensible advice and prices.
