Hi Guys

Anyone know of anywhere in our region that can repair a puncture outside the normal repair zone?

I'm not sure if anyone will touch that with it being so close to the sidewall. Most places specify at least an inch in from the edge. It's probably too much of a high-stress/load area.

We would not repair that tyre, buy a new one.

Save the money from a repair towards a new tyre as it looks a bit low.

Only thing between you and the road.

In your industry, are the types that would repair that? Curious to see how it compares to dodgy windscreen firms.

My wife picked up a puncture in exactly the same place on her car just after Christmas, we tried a couple of garages locally and everyone flat refused to repair it so we ended up buying a new one.

Good luck, but based on our experience I would not bother wasting your time driving around tyre garages, bite the big one and buy a new tyre!

There are places about that will repair them as they use a different process to the normal high street places, apparently.

It's a nearly new tyre hence why its worth a little pain trying to find somewhere.

Only a dodgy place with no regard for your safety would repair that.
