Advice on this car?
Discussion
I'm considering going and looking at THIS car on Saturday but cant decide if its a little over priced? I wasn't planning on buying until May/April time but I have been looking for a nice cheap car I could use occasionally on track and is fun to use day to day as I have gone from a job doing 30k+ a year for work to a 2 mile commute and 0 work miles plus I am trying to ride to work each day. The appeal to me is its completely standard which is quite difficult to find in clios in this price range.
I was thinking offer around £2300 if its a good clean car?

I think you've said it yourself, you can't find many unfettled ones at this price mark... surely worth a look? Good history listed, looks tidy, check tyre wear, head gasket, length of tax and if it drives smoothly, it could be a good buy.
Everyone expects to be negotiated down a little too, seems like a fair amount of motor for the money!

Just searched the number and it appears to be a sole trader as his numbers can be found on loads of adverts on PH and some against a business name. Found his facebook page aswell with pics of the car! scarily easy.
Just need to workout how much my golf is worth and decide whether to bite the bullet.

Guy in our motor club uses one for Autosolos - don't think it's that one but if you look at FDMC website Event reports you'll see it.
It has always struck me as a decent handling car which duals as a road car as well as for occasional competitive events.
Maybe I'm biased as No1 son had a Trophy which was an awesome drive.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.
