Looks like someone had fun this morning...

Past a Police car sat on its front bumper with tyre marks down the side just down from Pennyhill, and they have shut the A30 from Camberley to Bagshot just past Notcuts.

Took about 20 mins to get through the diversion.

Crawled past the scene this morning, then as the traffic was moving so slowly decided to do a u turn and go another way.
As i re-passed the scene I was waved over by the police driver involved in the accident and told the U turn was dangerous as this was the very cause of his accident.
Very tempted to say "The difference was I looked before I turned" !

Speed traping that stretch today; quite a high volume of police there about an hour ago.

The "hour ago" I was talking about was about 10-10:30 AM

So not speeding? TAX, Insurance? in which case I'd have given your colleagues a little wave in appreciation.

Tax and no insurance is just one of the many things the van will flag up, we were there to catch (deter) burglars/car thieves/drug dealers etc smile
We were moved to a new location though

I think people see the sign on the van and always associate it with speed camera, when it just means "camera". A speed van wouldn't have motorbikes and fast(ish) cars with it.
