Solicitor for a house purchase, recommendations?

Need to get a solicitor in place for a house purchase quite urgently. Can anyone recommend someone ideally in the Reading area.

The Head Partnership, Lower Earley or Henley are pretty good in my experience - big enough to employ specialists but small enough to offer a personal service.

I've always found them to be very slow, hence the reason why they are so cheap I suppose. Vrooble Kaye in pinner are excellent, ask to use Russell who is the main solicitor.
