I'm in the laborious process of getting quotes for skip hire, so far the lowest price is £300+vat.
Seems high to me, but I haven't hired one for a couple of years so maybe my expectations are unrealistic.

Can anyone advise, or recommend a company around Reigate?

Landfill tax, plus all the bloody paperwork that goes with the Waste Transfer Regulations have made the days of a "cheap" skip anywhere in the South East a thing of the past.

Be careful of "cheap" as it may end up in a hedge, any YOU will be as liable as whoever tipped it there.

That's not a bad price at all

I usually pay £180-200 for a 6yd
And £220-250 for an 8yd.

Cash deals can be done with some smaller firms.

Hawkins and Scott in Lower Kingswood.

Mind you at present the in thing is to use all of the lanes around Chipstead and Lower Kingswood to deposit your waste, about time they came down VERY hard on fly tipping, and they take ages to clear it. furious
