Track at Longcross

A bit O/T...
Great collection of cars you have Jon, last time I was on a run you had just picked up the 430 Spider. Just wondered if you had to give them all up except one which one would you keep & why. I may be in a position to add another set of wheels to my list later this year (long story) and it would be good to get some feedback especially between the Ferrari & Porsche (scratch that needs itching!)
Cheers

Hi Jon,
Yep that was a good hoon....I remember us all passing a lone police on a lane in the middle of Berkshire...they didn't even bother trying!!
I'm not sure one car would really do it but if I really did need to narrow it down I'd probably have to go with the CL65. Maybe that's my old age shining through!!
Hope to see you again at some point this year.
Best,
Jonathan

NO NO NO!!!! the DB9 rocks!
I've always wanted one but the XKR convertable is just that bit cheaper (and more reliable; as it's my day to day car that's important)
Mr 13th went out and tried the track at Longcross and wasn't too impressed.
I'd suggest heading over to Weybridge Mercs place and throwing one of their cars about. It's interesting just for a visit and the restaurant is quite good too and lovely on a sunny day to watch from the balcony.
P.S. hands off the Lady Penelope car, one day she will be mine ;-)
P.S. if you like driving have a look at Petrolhead Nirvana very well organised trips.

Yup, apart from the 'snake' it's just a high speed run, to get maximum fun out of the place you need to include the concentric circles, other link roads and test hills, basically set it out as a rally stage - which of course the owners won't let happen any more.... Which is a shame as the last event I did there was round part of the Wrath of the Titans set, so it was obvious we could co-exist with their filming customers.
