Following on from my what car we will be picking up a new to us volvo xc90 next weekend.
Can anyone recommend anyone for the following jobs

There are a few scratches around the car that I want taking care of. None of them look that deep so may polish out.
But anything the detailer cant remove can be removed by body shop.

The car will need a good detail, even though they say they will clean it I know it won't be a brilliant job. It's also nice to have everything cleaned properly and feeling and looking like new.

So any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated. Don't mind paying for a good job but obviously don't want to be ripped off.

Cheers all

After phoning around a few of the recommendations that came through I had Steve (Edar or here) from ultimate detail www.theultimatedetail.co.uk come over and spend 1 and a half days on our car doing a full inside and out detail, including clay bar, a full 2 stage machine polish, and he has done a fantastic job and the car looks brand new again. would highly recommend as he was very helpful, arrived on time, did the work to a very high standard, and was fantastic value for money!!! quoting me half what i was quoted elsewhere!!

will certainly have him back to maintain it. and once my pug is on the road he can work his magic on that as well.

highly recommended!!!

Can you give an indication on how much it cost? I want to get my new (to me) Range Rover detailed up, it's gonna need some scratches and scuffs removed and a decent polish up to get it looking nice and shiny! smile

Yeah Steve is a top guy. Had planned to use him for my fsti but had a hectic year with a restructure at work, a newborn and house move so the car didn't get done. Busy busy!
