Hi Guys,

Looking to go out with a few mates on sunday for a pub lunch (we all fancy a roast dinner)

Can anywhere suggest a good local for food? Not looking to spend pennyhill etc

Cheers

Tim

Not easy and we're often asking the same thing ourselves.
The White Hart in Frimley is pretty good and inexpensive.

Try The Ely, seriously. We've been going there for a few years, friendly service, nice food and a Sunday carvery. In fact we had one there last week. It does get busy there at times but then that's a good thing!

Ended up in the White Hart as it was closest.

Can report back that it was perfectly satisfactory. My mate has a steak which looked and was terrible. However i had fish and chips and the other two had a burger each and all that was really nice.

Doh! Thats my local. The burgers are good as they are steak and you can't go wrong with f&c but I wouldn't have epxected the steak to be good tbh.

No, we all had best intentions but the roast was overlooked when presented with a full menu!
