What can people recommend me in the way of decent takeaways in the Kingston area?

Thai, Indian, Chinese, Kebabs, etc.

Preferably south of Kingston station, let's have some recommendations!

Not really a takeaway person but you have some great restaurants around you in Kingston.

Probably the best curry I've ever had is at a place in Richmond (not far from the Odeon if you know it?). It has a Michelin star award and is really good value for money all things considered. I know it's not really in keeping with your thread but it really is worth the mention.

It's called Tangawizi.

Al-Amin. Cambridge rd Kingston top notch curry with an open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked,+ the added bonus of 20% off if you collect. smile

Al Amin looks pretty impressive, I'll definitely try there. Although I think I will have to go in and pick up a menu, because their website is from 1994.

Good suggestion, any others?

So far I've tried the Indian place and the Chinese. No complaints!

The Norbiton Grill which is just near the petrol station in Norbiton is pretty decent for a burger.

Simply Thai is nearby but has had some shocking reviews as of late.

Tbh, there aren't many decent takeaways in Kingston from what I've tried. (My ex was a student thee so I've tried a few!)

A good but expensive takeaway is Indian Zest - if they deliver as far as Kingston

Definitely Al Amin as a reliable Indian takeaway. The Red Rose in Surbiton is also good, but I am not sure they deliver any more.

Patcharee Thai at the back of the station is good for a take-away, not so keen on the eat-in experience.
