Highways & Gritting

Well having been working North of Oxford yesterday with 4-6 inches of snow falling
I have to say well done to the Highways Gritting teams for keeping most major and local main routes gritted not only in advance but overnight and during the day.

Local Surrey teams have also been busy keeping the main routes gritted and clear.

Shame thay cant just do some of the minor estates spine roads but overal a job well done.

Yep it's been really good this year, no issues today at work at all (apart from the gritter that hurled abuse at us whilst we dragged a car out of a ditch)

Actually managed to cycle 36 miles (on an MTB) from Binfield out through Ascot, Old Windsor, Windsor, M'head and back - the only roads that were dodgy were the minor back roads - given last year we would hardly get out of Binfield local councils have done much better this year!
