It's possible I'm going to need the services of a Chiropractor. Does anyone know of a good one in Reading?

It's to try and sort out a whiplash injury to my neck

I've used these guys in the past

http://www.readingchiropractic.com

the following guy is very very good but time management is not his strong point, if you don't mind him always being late I'd suggest using him

Over the years I've used a few in the area (old motorcycling injury) and the best one so far is Lizzie (or her boss Andy) at Reflex Chiropractic Clinic in Caversham tel: 01189462100.
Don't be put off by her slight stature she has fingers of steel and her technique is excellent.
HTH.
Cheers, Pewe.

& don't forget the jokes.

Unfortunately though I'd have to disagree. Having visited Richard for approx. 6 years with sciatica, he didn't actually diagnose it until I needed an operation to cure it, he 'thought' I had some hamstring troubles. During that time I'd also recommended him to a couple of colleagues who stopped after one or two visits as he just does the same thing, cracks your back & neck, a bit of maniuplation & then onto the moving roller bed which does at it says, rolls you over rollers massaging your back. At no time did anything he do make my back feel any better. My own fault really, I 'thought' it was doing me good.

Another vote for http://www.readingchiropractic.com from me. I've been using Simon Bird for a while now and am really happy with what he does for me.

It's his practice (he's the boss!), he's knowledgeable and he likes to look at problems holistically, ie, not just treat the problem area but look at how other things may be affecting it (that may not apply to a whiplash injury but it did in my case).

No connection, just a happy customer smile
