Hart in Hampshire has been named the UK's most desirable place to live for quality of life for the second year running.
The study by the Halifax bank took into account factors such as jobs, housing, health, life expectancy, crime, weather, traffic and house prices.
Do we find that heartening/unsurprising or what?

I'm in Winchfield.... and I kinda see what they mean; good countryside around us, very high employment and thus expendable income and low crime compared to the national average. I for one love it here.

I'm further south, still in Hampshire though! Nice village (I live on the Green) close to south downs and only 15 minutes from the coast. Despite being a small village we still have ample shops, pubs and a station!

Live just outside it in Rushmore, but spend a lot of time in Fleet at the in-laws, very nice area and will be moving there once finances allow.
Lived in Bracknell as a child and can see why it was missed off biggrin

Windlesham is pretty and ideal if you like village, but not too villagy life.

I have a large property currently looking for tenants or buyers, our family have their own places so rattling around and want to travel............

I'm in Fleet (Elvetham Heath), nice enough area but a bit dull. If I could afford it, would move to Guildford.

Think I've seen your Evora around a few times, can't be many light blue ones in the area.

Elvetham Heath here too. Moved out from Chiswick 7 years ago.

Safe place to live, easy access to South Coast, London, Heathrow etc. Can see why sores highly, although plenty of other lovely places (non Hart) nearby too !
