When I entered the M4 at Junction 10 this morning it was the first time I'd seen anything relating to this speed limit. I had a look on the Highway Agencies website and found they are doing safety barrier work. Details are here

If it's anything like this morning and the 50mph limit that was in place between Newbury/Hungerford recently very few people were sticking to it and flying past me. You then overtake them when you get to the NSL section again!

Be thankful for small mercies. At least there's no SPECS.... smile

Yep - still no cameras.

I fear this might make exiting eastbound easier, and hence the 50 stays eek

No cameras or seemingly workers but still the 50mph limit in place. Nice.
