Google spat this out:

Thanks all
I've looked in to doing a DIY refurb job. The removal of the pump seems to require dismantling the entire engine, and is quoted as a 3 hour job for a competent mechanic. In this instance, DIT means "Don't Involve Yourself.
I've found a chap in Essex that seems to do these jobs for a fair price, just waiting to hear of he will travel this far.
Unfortunately, Fils Pajeros link shows that the site is no longer maintained - plus, I can't get the car down to him.
Anyone know a really competent mobile mechanic?
