Where to go, lads night out in London

Ok, so i am asking the PH massive where to go for a lads night in London.
Bars and pubs, no problems there, but how about club ideas, somewhere with an older age group.
We're 40+ and some places we've been before, the age group are far too young.

Any ideas?

Probaalby want to narrow XX quare miles down a bit? West end/Central area etc. you mean?

A pub crawl from Highbury & Islington tube station to Angel tube station was always a favourite when I was a student. Kings Rd in Chelsea was another. Clubwise I'm a bit out of date now but if they're still around, The Swan in Stockwell and the Castle Tavern at Shepherds Bush Green ( where I met my gorgeous Swedish wife of 17 years!) were always a great night out.

Narrowing it down, we'll be central. Piccadilly circus, trafalgar sq, Leicester sq. Soho.
You know the tourist areas !

Good salsa club on Shaftesbury ave that is always lively when I have been going to work at 2/3am.

Can't really go wrong with Roadhouse, Covent Garden - real mix of ages, live music, good size bars and plenty of places to lounge about.

The Comedy Store might be a good alternative to a club after a few beers.
