Can anyone recommend an aircon specialist in or around the Bracknell/Wokingham/Crowthorne area? My Mini is not demisting very well in the rubbish weather, and when I checked in turned the temperature to cold it continued to blow out warmish air.

I have used Autoair a couple of times - once on each of my cars and was extremely happy both times.

If Woking isn't too far I had a good result with Reader Air on my Golf. http://www.readerair.co.uk/contact.html

Thanks for the replies. Can I ask roughly how much it cost?

I had a new compressor, drier etc so £600 - don't know what they'd charge for a service.

When I used Auto air, the first time was to detect a leak on a Ferrari 348 - found to be the compressor. He ordered then fitted a new compressor + receiver drier (not via Ferrari of course), regassed - and I had change from £500 which I thought was a bargain.

Second time was to detect a leak on 996 turbo - found one of the condensors leaked. He had the condensor in his van, so removed bumper, fitted and regassed on the spot. Can't remember the price for that one, but I was happy with it.

A bit out of your way but these guys are well regarded for proper service and prices.
