The new Cricketers pub in Warfield

Hi all. Just a quick heads up that The Cricketers pub in Warfield is now open once again for business.

It seems to be under new ownership and has had a much needed overhaul and it is now looking very nice indeed. When I walked in I didn't recognise the place!

It's my local so I'd like it to do well so I thought I'd let you all know.

Below is the view as you walk in the door. To those who have visited previously you'd be forgiven for thinking you'd gone to a completely different pub!

That used to be my local. Looks like it's gone well up market!

I remember the last time it was renovated, I've still got the top off the guiness pump!

Glad to see it's reopened as it used to be one of my locals too however I used to like the rustic feel and rustic folk that inhabited it as it was. From the pic it just looks like another one of the yuppy, soulless and anonymous pubs that seem to be cropping up everywhere. Shame it couldn't exist as it was as this combined with the White Horse in Winkfield Row offered two proper pubs within a short distance which sadly are no more.
