M3 northbound junc 4 this time!!

When I got home 15 mins ago, they said on the radio North and South were closed until the air ambulance had left.

It was reported as a 9 vehicle rtc, they shut the motorway for the helicopter to land.

Some of the driving I witnessed on the M4 & M25 yesterday was just out of this world stupid. Luckily (for some) - ABS + DSC seem to subvert the natural selection process.

Managed to avoid this when I saw the traffic jam and dived off @ 4a, assumed it was the bridge works though.

Nasty one on Friday too, at least two fire engines and 3-4 police cars in attendance.

And what do the Highways Agency plan to do with this stretch of motorway that already experiences an abnormal amount of accidents and NEEDS an area to pull vehicles off to whilst waiting recovery; let alone normal breakdowns?

Oh yes in their wisdom they are planning to scrap the hard shoulder and make the stretch between 2 - 4a FOUR lanes!!

Am I missing something here or is that pure idiocy?
