Battery drains are easy to find! If you have a volt meter, remove battery negative lead and put the meter in between. Then pull fuses (Ignition off) until you find the circuit which drops the draw the most. Most cars have about a 0.2-0.3 volt draw when off. Most off time its the clock/radio/ecu etc. Might save you a few quid
Hmmm... I do have a volt meter though I've never actually used it or know what to do with it but I'll give it a go to see what I can find.
Personally I think it probably is the ecu as it has a stand-alone running in piggy-back mode and I don't remember having battery problems before it was fitted.
