Hi

Sorry i haven't bought a car from them but was considering it but definitely wont now.A word of warning though if your going the court route i had to do that with a car in croydon and it took 9 months to all go through and be finished but i was claiming for a full refund and not a deposit so it might go through quicker for you.I live local to them and it appears he doesn't keep as many cars as he used to so i reckon that tells us something.
Good luck with your case
Gary

Really?
Njoseph joins PH just to post this negative comment?

ETA
And then he changes his user name? A competitor perhaps?

I don't know the dealer, however I'm not sure I would base a decision on what this chap has to say.
Hopefully, someone else will be along soon to provide some input.

I had a ccj against sandhurst bridge cars, they avoided paying by moving to strike off the company.
A new company was formed registered to the same office. Not sure if Yorktown Motor is the same people though.

Hi Terso, Yorktown Motors is run by the same outfit, same Head Office address, same mobiles & email contact is the previous owner. Pretty conclusive! I also have a CCJ outstanding, have informed Companies House who were not very interested but have suspended the striking off until 13 March 2013. I am now pursuing a Complaint Form EX343 against Guildford & Reading County Courts for maladministration as warrant was not applied in time. Happy hunting of the low life.

Watch the new series of THE SHERRIFS ARE COMING starting on January 14th. He is the star of one of the shows! The bbc said it was great footage as the police had to be called. With ccj's you need to sue the individual but as he is always the sole owner of the company if you sued the company you may have come back even if the company name changes yearly! Please contact trading standards as they need more complaints to do anything serious. Hart trading standards have been a great help in communicating with Berkshire trading standards.

Sammy used to be one of our team of drivers at BCA until he 'had to leave' and then set up as a dealer.
In my experience he was a very pleasant guy but became the 'hard man' when doing business.
