They don't care about KSI's its all about money and how much they can get, both roads are 4 lanes so twice as lightly to get a speeder, the black van maybe ANPR?

They were on the M40 southbound just before you reach John Lewis the other day. Up on the police ramp with a hand held laser gun. Utterly pointless bit of policing if you ask me...

Would have improved safety if they'd nobbled the middle lane morons instead...

Good shout but there again there are all about revenue and not making the roads a safer place... I must admit i have never seen one in bourne end on the road in from the A404, you can really open up down there and there is a good couple of bends... Well when your not stuck behind a tractor...

Seen them a few times on the road into bourne end, normally as you enter the restricted areas thought. Also an accident black spot by the nursery as well, but never seen them checking around that part.

seen them 'just' as you enter Bourne End on the left on a wide lay by of tarmac,if you head in from the A404.They had an unmarked car with the speed detector on a tripod facing the incoming traffic and the cops writing tickets to a queue of traffic!!!

Also look out for the Scamera Partnership van at the top of Remenham Hill outside Henley.

It parks in the layby by the Remenham lane turning, and has been there at least once a week for the last few months.

Quite a few KSI on Remenham Hill in the last few years, so at least he's following guidelines.

The speed signs are pretty effective doncha reckon Dan? Glad they didn't just stick Gatso's in.

So that'll be no K's a few SI's and then??? I really think the 40 mph limit up the hill out of Henley is ludicrous and parking a Scamera Van at the top of the hill confirms - to me at least - that it is just yet another revenue earning opportunity. Rich...

At least 3 K's in the last couple of years, judging by the flowers left at the roadside.

Agree though that the 40 limit is mad. The problem is poor visibility near the top of the hill on the way down. As you pass Remenham Lane the road ahead is hidden.

People coming up the hill would overtake head-on into the poor sods coming down.

Agree. Although my kids always say, "Daddy, can you make the lights come on again?"

Of course there used to be no need for it to be "head-on" because there was a third up-hill overtaking lane. This was re-engineered away to make it safer!!! Oh and to make it better for enforcing the 40 mph and scamera! Rich...

Saw the scameravan with blacked out windows actually UNDER the Marlow Junction on the A404 - looked like it had broken down the way they had positioned it on the grass verge - flippin cheaky b*ggers.. luckily I was coming off @ Marlow and had already scrubbed off some speed.. the cars in front seemed to motor on unaware of it.. I know they sit on the layby but surely that is just rediculous..
